talking about everything that comes to mind // i go from general life to audiobooks and then to…language?

Hello world. It’s me.

I’ve decided to pop on for a bit and have some fun with this very stale blog. Except I don’t really know what to talk about and all the post ideas I’m thinking of are not enticing me at all.

So! What we shall do is indulge in a bit of rambling. I have no agenda, no structure, no idea how this post is going to end up, which hopefully means that it might turn out to be something rather interesting.

Or it’s just going to be me stringing a lot of meaningless sentences together.

I don’t know. But let’s see, shall we?

reacting to my old writing (TATMIAU pt. 4)

Welcome back to the blog, friends! Today, I’ll be doing part 4 of my reaction to my old story, Tessa and the Murder in Avon, Utah.

If you haven’t already, check out parts one, two, and three to see the first parts of the story and learn the full history of my so-far-very-short-lived-wannabe writing career.

I started this story when I was about 10 or 11 years old and it’s supposed to be a Nancy Drew kind of mystery. So far, we’ve had a weird creepy guy with a moving black bag, moody teenager issues, and cringe galore, so this will probably be a continuation of all of that.

This might take a while, so let’s get started!

reacting to my old…writing (TATMIAU pt. 3)

It’s been so long since the last installment of this, but I just feel like critiquing myself, so here we are again.

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. As the title suggests, today I will be reacting to part 3 of Younger Me’s writing called Tessa and the Murder in Avon, Utah.

If you missed the first and second parts of this series, be sure to check it out because it’s really funny and also includes the previous parts of the story that I’ve already critiqued.

This always ends up being a little embarrassing but still super fun, so sit tight, and let’s see how part 3 of this disaster of a book will go!

note: me being salty or “mean” to my younger self is all in fun, so don’t take it too seriously!

in this post: Younger Me continues to be a rather cringy writer

honestly, what else did I expect?

Welcome back to this series, friends!! I hope you’re doing well.

In the first post of this series, I shared the stats of this story that Younger Me wrote and some backstory regarding my love of writing and what I told stories about as a child. I also dissected the first 2 pages and a third of this book that I called Tessa and the Murder in Avon, Utah. I think it was a pretty funny post, so if you missed it, go give it some love!

I’m not going to make this a lengthy intro, so let’s get right into the second part of this disaster!

(in case you didn’t realize, this is all in fun and me being salty or super critical is part of it! don’t worry, i still love and cherish 10 yro Younger Me no matter how embarrassing she was ❤)

Reacting to my old…writing // aka embarrassment time! (TATMIAU pt. 1)

Hey there wonderful people and welcome back!! Today, I’m going to be reacting to my old writing from some years back that I wrote when I was around 10/11 years old.

This will be fun.

And by fun, I mean I’m going to die of embarrassment.

Before we get started, a big shout-out to Ash @ Starlight Strands for pretty much making me decide to do this! (Go check her out!! Her blog is gorgeous, her posts are amazing and hilarious, and I assure you that you will not be disappointed!!) I’d been thinking about writing a “reacting to my old…” series, and then I saw her post where she reacted to her past writing, so I decided to go ahead and just do it too.

And now, without further ado, let’s get started!
