2020 bookish wrap-up | my favorites, least favorites, reading challenge updates, and general review of the past reading year

Good afternoon friends, and welcome back! Today, we’re finally finally getting the wrap-up of my 2020 reading year. I’ve been putting off doing this post for absolutely no reason. Actually, I’m kind of exhausted thinking about how long this is going to be, so maybe that’s why. However, it’s not going to magically put itself together, so here we are.

Let’s see what I read in the miserably weird year that was 2020.

2020 Mid Year Goals & Reading Challenge Update

basically, a post where I really surprise myself

Good morning, amigos!!! I hope you’ve all been having a great start to your week! Today I’ll be doing an update on all my bookish and not so bookish goals that I made at the start of the year. I’ll also be sharing what I’ve read for the 4 reading challenges that I’m doing.

To be honest, I’m pretty surprised with how well I did in some aspects, and of course, not so surprised that I failed in others. Lol, let’s get started!

The Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag // basically a really long post where I talk about great books

Hey y’all!! Welcome back. Today, you get to torture treat yourself to this wonderfully long post talking about the awesome books that I’ve read so far this year.

You’ll also finally be getting an idea of what I’ve been reading since May. I think I’m just going to wait until my Monthly Wrap-Up for June to talk about every book since then, but a couple of the ones I mentioned are ones that I’ve read recently.

*cue Victorian British accent*

Good day dear bookish friends! Welcome back to my little corner. I hope you have some tea, because it would be a bore to read this without some! Add a little cookies too; don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone!

Today, I shall be speaking with you all regarding my love for historical fiction, a wonderful genre full of interesting stories, quaint times, and dazzling characters. I will also be enlightening you, as well as myself, on the problems of the past and why loving this genre may not necessarily be for you.

And of course, to wrap it all up, I shall share some lovely reads from these bygone eras that I think would warm your little hearts.

Let us begin, shall we?

Get to know me by my bookish habits and favorites // The Who Am I? Book Tag (round 2)

I’ve already done this before, but I’m still going to do it again.

A lot of things have changed since my first time doing this nearly a year ago (will be exactly a year this Saturday) and I now have some new favorites and possibly a whole new outlook on life, so I’m curious to see how my answers will differ this time around.

Many thanks to the amazing Nikki @ The Night is Dark and Full of Books for tagging me! (and I’m so sorry for taking 6 months to finally do this!!)

Let’s get started!!
