Another year has…well, this year hasn’t flown by at all, but I am glad that it is coming to an end. I cannot wait to see what 2021 brings (it’s ironic how I probably said the exact same thing at the end of 2019 and then 2020 decided to be a disaster). I really hope that everything has hit rock bottom this year so we can start on a new and better path next year. hopefully
Before the year ends though, we’ve still got December’s topics to go through. As always, Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly, hosted by me and Dani @ Literary Lion, where we discuss certain topics, share our opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts.
Many thanks to Eleanor for suggesting a topic! We actually only have three discussions this December because we’ve made the last one a freebie, so we’ll end the year on a more relaxed note.

December 4th: Redemption Arcs (Dani)
Examples: Do you like redemption arc plotlines? What are some of your favorites? What makes up a good redemption arc? Can any character be redeemed or are there some characters that are too far gone?
December 11th: The Writing Styles of Classics and Contemporaries (suggested by Eleanor @ Wishing Upon a Star)
Examples: Do you prefer reading classics or contemporaries? What differences do you notice between the two? Why do you think the “classics” have been designated classics and are studied in school? Are there any newer books that remind you of classics?
December 18th: Reading & Blogging: Their Effect on Writing
Examples: Have you sometimes felt that as a reader, you should also be a writer or vice versa? Do you think that a desire to write is connected with a love of reading? What motivates you to write? As a book blogger, do you ever feel discouraged about publishing a book because you know how readers & bloggers can react to books/authors? Do you think that authors can be book bloggers as well, or that they’ve crossed the imaginary line between authors and bloggers and therefore are not like other book bloggers anymore?
December 25th: There’s No Topic today; enjoy your day off!
As always, you don’t have to answer every question under the examples. You don’t even have to answer any of them if you don’t want to, but I’ve decided to include them as a guideline if you are unsure what to post regarding the topic.

If you have any ideas for topics, please share them in this form, or you can use my Contact page!!
We appreciate each and every suggestion!

What do you think of December’s topics? Do you have any fun plans for all the breaks coming up? I’m just ready to sleep and sleep throughout the entirety of next week lol. Are you taking part in NaNoWriMo? If so, what are you writing about if you’d like to share? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
I’m excited to try this for the first time! The topics look great!
