Let’s Talk Bookish – November 2020

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. This post was actually supposed to publish yesterday, but somebody forgot, so here we are today. I’ll still be posting today’s discussion a little later, so be on the lookout for that as well!

Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme, hosted by me & Dani @ Literary Lion, where we discuss certain topics, share our opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts. Today, I’m sharing the topics for November.

Many thanks to Lydia and Aria for suggesting topics! If you’d like to talk about a specific topic, be sure to suggest it in the form below! Let’s get started.

November 6th: Romance as a Subplot (Dani)

Examples: Why do you think romance is the most common subplot? Do you think romance subplots take away from the main story, or add to it? Do you prefer stories without any romance in them? Is romance better as a subplot or as a main plot?

November 13th: When Are Reading Breaks a Good Idea (suggested by Lydia @ Lydia Schoch)

Examples: Do you ever take breaks from reading? What causes you to take a reading break and how long are they typically? When would you recommend reading breaks to others? Do you think reading breaks help you to read more in the long run?

November 20th: Freebie

It’s a free day! You can use this day to catch up on topics you missed, or just take the day off 🙂

November 27th: Rereading Books (suggested by Aria @ Book Nook Bits)

Examples: Do you reread books? How often? Do you reread a series before reading the newest book? Is there a certain book or series that you always come back to reread? Do you count rereads towards your monthly/yearly goals? Do you feel guilty about rereading books?

As always, you don’t have to answer every question under the examples. You don’t even have to answer any of them if you don’t want to, but I’ve decided to include them as a guideline if you are unsure what to post regarding the topic.

Is there something about books or the book blogging community that you want to discuss? Do you know any controversies going in the community right now? Is there something you don’t want to discuss personally, but would love to see other’s opinions about? Please share your ideas in this form, or you can use my Contact page!!

We appreciate each and every suggestion!

I hope you guys are excited for these topics! Also, if you have any topic suggestions, we’d really appreciate them!! Today’s discussion will be going up in about an hour, so see you then.
