Many thanks to Evelyn for suggesting this! I’m actually not subscribed to any boxes, and I have no idea what that experience is like, so I’m not going to be writing a discussion on this today. However, you can always check back to see all the other amazing posts about this topic that I’ll be linking below.
This is also the last topic of May. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out June’s Topics which Dani and I shared earlier this month. I know that I haven’t updated LTB’s page with them yet, and I apologize. I’ll try to work on that over the weekend.

Love the graphics you use! I subscribe to Owlcrate and I love it, but it’s definitely a monetary dedication. I love the experience more than anything (I’ve only read about 1/4 of the books that I’ve gotten… oops). I also subscribe to Book of the Month because you’re able to pick which book you want. I enjoy it! Ah, if only they weren’t so expensive…

Thanks Heather! Haha, I feel like I’d read a lot less of those books, because I am kind of picky about them. Yeah, I wish they weren’t so expensive 😌

like you, I’m not subscribed to any subscription boxes… but it’s because there are literally none in the Philippines, lol 😂 and the shipping fees for subscription boxes that ship internationally are just… no. If I had the opportunity to subscribe though, I don’t think I would. Maybe I’m just really used to never buying physical books and bookish items, but I think there are more useful things to spend my money on. Besides, I can’t help but wonder what I’ll do with all the things I receive in the box (from watching unboxing vids on YouTube, I know some would be useless to me). And I’m pretty selective about the books I choose to read—if the box came with one I wasn’t interested in, I’d probably never read it lmao

Yesss, the box itself is so expensive, and no one would want to pay a second fortune just for shipping. Same, I have pretty much the same feelings. Like they seem super cool, but I probably would never use 99% of the items that come with it, and I might also not like the book, or it’s not my thing or whatever. So it seems like a huge waste of money in the end. But at the same time, I think it’s super cool and I kind of still want it 😂 But not on my dime for sure loll
