What I Just Finished:

I finished Into The Water last week and was a little stumped about how to rate it. Through-out the story I was really confused, but the ending was great. I eventually gave it 3 out of 5 stars. You can read my review here.

I finished The Restaurant Critic’s Wife over the weekend and I am so glad I read it. Reading about Lila’s adventures as a new mother of two while being the wife of a very anonymous restaurant critic was hilarious and a breath of fresh air for me.

What I’m Currently Reading:

I’m almost 30% in to I Found You and I’m loving it so far. I have a few theories about how the stories ties together, but we’ll see!

What I Plan to Read Next:

My library copy has come through, so next, I shall be reading Blanca and Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore! I have read a lot of amazing reviews that praised this book, so I really hope I enjoy this one.

  1. Ooh! I’m so excited for your current and next reads! I’ve heard a lot about Lisa Jewel’s books but haven’t read any yet. And I’ve been on the fence about adding Blanca & Roja to my wish list – not sure if it’s my kind of read. So I’ll look forward to your reviews for both! And The Restaurant Critic’s Wife sounds fun and interesting – I’ll check it out! 😍

  5. Oof. I’ll have to give Into The Water a try. I was a bit on the fence whether I should buy a copy or not. Wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it. But I’ll deffo check out your review.

  7. I liked Into the Water. I gave it 4 stars – mostly because I thought it was different from most everything I had read before. I’m definitely adding I Found You to my TBR. Hope you continue to love it! Have a great week of reading!

    1. I gave it 3 because it left me confused and lost through-out most of the story, but I agree it is very different from most mysteries. I hope I continue enjoying it and that you love it!
