WWW Wednesday #15

Hello and welcome to WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words.

The Three W’s are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Let’s get started!

What I Just Finished:

All covers are from Goodreads unless stated otherwise

Last week, I finally finished Vicious (reviewhere) and I really liked it! It wasn’t a five star, but I would still highly recommend it!

Damaged was predictably sweet, while thrilling in some parts. I also really loved the legal aspect in it!

In The Woods was a huge disappointment. The story had great potential, and then the ending had to ruin the book for me. Review will probably be up on Friday!

What Am I Currently Reading:

MY LIBRARY HOLD HAS FINALLY COME THROUGH!!!! I’ve been waiting to read Watching You since December of last year! I’m glad I didn’t buy it yet, and that my patience is paying off. This is okay so far and I’m itching to find out what is truly going on in this secret filled book!

What Do I Plan on Reading Next:

I’m going to be reading Stalking Jack The Ripper as a group read and I’m excited because it’s historical mystery – two of my favorite genres! I’m also in need of something light and happy so I also want to read The Restaurant Critic’s Wife.

That’s it for this Wednesday! What are you reading? Do you have any thoughts on any books that I’m reading, just finished, or want to read next? Let’s chat in the comments below! (Be sure to link to your WWW’s!)

  1. I loved Vicious when I read it earlier this year and I can’t wait to read Vengeful! Sorry to hear that Tana French’s book was disappointing though… Have you read her other works? Stalking Jack the Ripper is also on my TBR for this year! Hope you enjoy your current and upcoming reads 😊

    1. I also can’t wait to read Vengeful! No, I haven’t tried any other books by Tana French and frankly, I’m not sure if I want to. Have you? Are they good? Thank you very much! Happy reading!

      1. I haven’t actually read any of her books yet, though a few of my friends have read this Dublin Murder Squad series and really enjoyed it. I mean, it sounds really good, but let’s see how it goes 🙂

  2. That stinks that Into the Woods didn’t pan out. Hopefully your other reads work out better. I need to read Watchin You! It sounds so good. Also, I’m curious about Stalking Jack the Ripper. I love the history behind it, so I many need to try that one too. Happy reading!

    1. Yeah, I really hoped that it would be good! I just finished Watching You and it was great! My review will hopefully be here on Monday! The reason why I want to read SJTR is because of the historical aspect to the mystery. Thank you and happy reading to you too!

  3. Glad to hear you liked Vicious! I really enjoyed it, too, and Vengeful is also good (though, I didn’t think it was as good as Vicious, personally). I hope you enjoy Stalking Jack the Ripper. I know a lot of people who really enjoyed it. I wasn’t that fond of it and actually ended up DNFing it, but I seem to be very much in the minority, so hopefully, it works out for you! Happy reading!

    1. I can’t wait to read Vengeful and I’m glad you liked it. Usually, a book that everyone loves, I sometimes hate, so fingers crossed that SJTR will be good! Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!

      1. I’m finding the same thing! I’ve been on the hype bandwagon for the past year, but I’m realizing that a lot of books that receive a lot of hype just fall flat for me. Guess it’s a lesson I have to learn and maybe hold back a little on those.

        1. Yes, agreed. I read The Cruel Prince recently and that also was very disappointing. I’ve decided to cut back on reading a lot of hyped books, but I do want to try SJTR.

  4. So sorry to hear that you did not enjoy In The Woods by Tana French. My book club is reading that next month. I was looking forward to it, as I will be going to Dublin in a few months, but I think I’ll borrow a copy from the library instead of buying it now. Hope you enjoy your next reads!

    1. It was going great until the very end and then I was hugely disappointed and angry. I hope you enjoy your time in Dublin! Thank you for stopping by ❤
