What I just Finished:

Since I didn’t do a WWW for last week, here are the two books that I read then. I finished Truly Devious and was lucky that my library had my hold for The Vanishing Stair ready because that cliffhanger ending was way too much for me to handle. And now I still have to wait for book three coming NEXT YEAR.

I finished The Cruel Prince over the past weekend and even thought it was amazing, I was a little underwhelmed. I’m not sure how or what to rate it. My review for it should be up next week.

What I Want to Read Next:

I want to read The Wicked King and Vengeful next since they are the second books in their series. But I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get hold of them right away.

  1. Looking forward to your thoughts on Vicious and Vengeful too when you read it! I’ve only read The Cruel Prince from all the books mentioned above and I agree that it was underwhelming. Right after I finished, I thought it was a good one but within a couple of days, the magic wore off and I just couldn’t point out one single thing I liked about it. 🤷

  3. Truly Devious is on my ‘urgent’ TBR for this year. Thanks for the heads up about the cliffhanger, I’ll try to make sure I can get the sequel easily before I start it 😊

    1. Yes, you should! The cliffhanger at the end of The Vanishing Stair is even worse, but the third book comes out next year so 🤷‍♀️

    1. Agreed. I think it was because of the hype that I didn’t enjoy it as much bu I also still want to read The Wicked King. Hopefully we’ll like that even more 😃 Happy reading to you too!
