To be naughty or not to be. That is the question.
Hi friends! Welcome to tag Thursday where I scour the internet and all things bookish to find interesting ‘quizzes’ to answer so that you get to know more about me and my blog.
Rules:
- Tag & link the person who tagged you
- Tag and link me/this post (if you would be so kind, I love reading your answers!)
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done
- Tag another 10 people!
Today’s tag is the: Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag which was made by Jenn @ Jenniely (Hey Jenn!). I wasn’t tagged by anyone to do this, but I want to do it anyway.
Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Green means: Yes I have committed the crime.
Red means: No I haven’t committed the crime.
Received an ARC and not reviewed it:
Ha! I’m not guilty of this one because I don’t get ARCs.
Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley:
Nope! I don’t do ARCs and haven’t ever visited Netgalley.
Rated a book on goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did):
Yes. Life happens, ya know?
Folded down the page of a book:
Nope. It doesn’t really annoy me to see a dog-eared page, but trying to smooth out the crease later is annoying.
Accidentally spilled on a book:
I don’t think so.
DNF a book this year:
I’ll say yes, since I did DNF a book in 2018 and this is a post long overdue.
Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it:
I don’t buy books, so no. I can always adore the cover online, right?
Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework):
*Coughs miserably* We’ve all done that, haven’t we?
Skim read a book:
If a book is not good, slow, or boring, I will skim it with no regrets.
Completely missed your Goodreads goal:
Nope. Well… as the year ended, I reduced the goal so it didn’t seem like I didn’t meet it. 😉 In the end, I think I surpassed my original goal.
Borrowed a book and not returned it:
Only once! I lost it, it’s not because I’d damaged it or anything. It turned up several months later.
Broke a book buying ban:
Haven’t imposed one on myself yet!
Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about:
Yes! It’s sad because I really wanted to review a certain book, but then I forgot everything about it.
Wrote in a book you were reading:
Nah. Most of my books are from the library anyway. I wouldn’t want to even smudge it, let alone write in it.
Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads:
Guilty as charged. There are SOOO many books that I’ve read and haven’t added. It’d take me forever to put everything up, but I’m doing my best 🙂
Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend:
No way! The guilt that will be consuming me for ages! *shudders*
Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book:
No. I actually let others borrow books from me A LOT. It’s kind of funny because they’d say they’re super interested in the book, and I’ll be like: take it, you can borrow it, and they’re like: no I don’t want to spoil it, etc…
Everyone else seems to hide and shy away from letting others borrow their books but I don’t.
Broke the spine of someone else’s book:
No way! I would not return it if I damaged it – but I’ve never broken the spine of a book as far as I can remember (you know, I might have possibly done it as a baby, but how am I to remember?)
Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged:
Aren’t we all a little guilty of this? I took off the jacket and then LOST it, so now I have to worry that I might mess up the book.
Sat on a book accidentally:
It’s possible. But I highly doubt it – I love books too much. So I’ll say: No.
8 out of 20
Yay! I’m on the Nice list! This was pretty fun to do and it’s nice to know that I’m not being naughty 😉.
It seems like the whole bookish world has already done this tag, which means I don’t have anyone to tag. But, if you haven’t done it, I tag you!
